1. Information we collect

• Account data: email address, display name, and authentication identifiers when you sign up or sign in.
• Letter content: the prompts, context, tone, category, and generated letters you create in the Assistant.
• Billing data: subscription status and Stripe customer identifiers (payment card details are handled by Stripe and never stored on our servers).
• Usage data: pages viewed, features used, approximate device and browser info, and diagnostic logs.

2. How we use information

• Generate, store, and deliver the letters you create.
• Operate accounts, subscriptions, and billing.
• Improve product quality, debug issues, and prevent abuse.
• Communicate service updates and respond to support requests.
• Comply with legal obligations.

3. Third-party services

We rely on a small number of trusted providers to run the Service:

• OpenAI, Google (Gemini), Anthropic: AI model providers that process letter prompts to generate output. Content sent to these providers is subject to their respective privacy terms. We do not permit these providers to train models on your letter content.
• Lovable Cloud (Supabase): hosting, database, and authentication.
• Stripe: payment processing and subscription management.
• Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity: privacy-respecting usage analytics, loaded only after you accept the cookie banner.
• Google AdSense: displays advertisements to users on the free plan (see section 5). Paid subscribers do not see ads.

4. Data storage and retention

Account and letter data are stored in Lovable Cloud (Supabase) in secure, access-controlled databases. We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may delete individual letters at any time from your dashboard, or request full account deletion by contacting us.

5. Advertising (Google AdSense)

We use Google AdSense to display ads to visitors on the free plan. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to our site and other sites on the Internet.

You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting www.aboutads.info. Ads are only loaded after you accept the cookie banner. Users in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland are shown ads consistent with applicable consent requirements.

6. Your rights

Depending on your location (including under GDPR and CCPA), you have the right to access, correct, export, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email us at support@lettergeniusai.com.

7. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or 16 in the EEA), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by updating the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, by an in-app notice.
