1. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 13 years old (16 in the EEA) to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.

2. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to create letters that are unlawful, defamatory, harassing, fraudulent, or that infringe another person's rights.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the Service, its AI providers, or its infrastructure.
• Impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or organization.
• Use the Service to generate spam, phishing, malware, or bulk unsolicited communications.
• Circumvent usage limits, rate limits, or paid-plan restrictions.

3. AI-generated content disclaimer

Letters produced by the Service are generated by third-party AI models. Output can be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate for your specific situation. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and deciding whether to send any letter you generate.

4. Not legal, medical, or financial advice

Letter Genius AI is a drafting tool, not a law firm, medical provider, or financial advisor. Content generated by the Service does not constitute legal, medical, tax, or financial advice. For legal matters, consult a qualified attorney in your jurisdiction.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of the prompts you submit and the letters you generate. You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display that content solely to operate the Service on your behalf. We do not sell your content, and we do not allow third-party AI providers to train models on it.

6. Subscriptions, billing, and refunds

Paid plans are billed in advance through Stripe and renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel any time from your dashboard; access continues through the end of the paid period. If you are not satisfied, email support within 14 days of your first charge and we will work with you in good faith on a refund.

7. Advertising

Free-plan users may see advertisements served by Google AdSense. Paid subscribers do not see ads. See our Privacy Policy for details.

8. Service modifications and availability

We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or use the Service in a way that causes harm to us, our users, or third parties.

10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Letter Genius AI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, whether incurred directly or indirectly.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by updating the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, by an in-app notice.
